Arduino web server is a project created as a prototype for house control through home network. The concept is similar to RF arduino communication project. Imagine lying on your couch, when suddenly you remember you want to check the temperature in your bedroom and if it’s too cold why not turn on the heater? Wouldn’t be great if you could just control all these from your laptop or smart phone?
That is what Arduino Web Server is for. It gives control over arduino input and outputs from a device that is connected to the home network.
For this video the inputs include a photo resistor and a temp sensor while the outputs are 3 LED lights but with some imagination you can do much more than that!
